This blog will be an experiment in collaborative learning across courses and sections. If you have a question that affects you personally, email me. If you have a question regarding English grammar, editing, homework, and class assignments, please post them here in the comments.  Answers to your questions will be posted thematically. 

You will note that there is a post assigned to each class. On this post, you will find the links to the slide presentations from class and links you need for submitting your homework.

  Use of English 1 Spring 2022 Course Description The aim of this course is to provide practice in various fields of the English language: to practice grammar phenomena especially difficult for a Hungarian speaker, to practice the areas of language competence needed in the academic environment, to help students perform better at language competence tests, to familiarize the students with the various types of tests and tasks used for the assessment of English competence, to initialize and/or enhance systematic vocabulary building, and to make students aware of different options made possible by the economy of the language.
